Health and Fitness Education Services

1. The Full Life Association’s research has shown that one of the concerns of people in general and especially of those who have completed the Full Life Association’s Life Planning Education Program is staying as healthy as possible for as long as they are alive.  This concern is associated with one of the top three concerns of seniors, dependency.  People who have been independent, making their own decisions, and controlling their destiny for 60 and 70 years do not want that to change.  In order to avoid the problems of dependency, the maintenance of a healthy, active lifestyle is essential.  The Full Life Association has developed basic health and fitness seminars to give people the information they need and to dispel many of the myths that have developed around aging. Attendance at the health and fitness seminars requires that individuals have registered for the Life Planning Education Program.

2. Referral Service – the Full Life Association maintains partnerships with Certified Fitness Professionals and organizations such as, Conditioning For Life for those individuals who find they need guidance outside the of an educational environment to turn their knowledge into successful action.  This can be an important step in maintaining a healthy lifestyle and getting help can be a wise idea.
