Paul Bookbinder

An educator with over 40 years experience shaping curriculum, Paul Bookbinder serves as the Full Life Association's Director of Education. He and Full Life Association founder Bill Zollo developed the curriculum for the organization's classes.

Bookbinder, a history professor at the University of Massachusetts in Boston since 1967, has been honored several times over his career. The winner of the First Chancellor's Distinguished Teaching Award, he has designed and taught courses for graduate students planning to teach history at the college level.

Bookbinder has worked with the Facing History and Ourselves Educational Foundation, an international organization founded in 1976 to promote moral decision-making in history lessons. Bookbinder has also served as an associate professor at the University of Massachusetts' McCormack Institute of Public Policy that addresses local, national and international political issues.
